Hola guys, I hope you all are doing great. Iโm awesome too. ๐
I never intended to be just a fashion blogger. I always wanted to start with food blogging as well. People who are close to me are very well aware of the foodie I am. I spend a rich profusion of money hogging from one restaurant to another just to quench my epicure. So here I am, with my first food blog. Well, there could have been nothing better than starting this voyage at the tallest hotel of my city- Renaissance Hotel (by Marriott group).
Renaissance is situated in the posh area of Lucknow that is Gomti Nagar. It is a five-star hotel and the mesmerizing view from the rooftop of the hotel, that is Skybar (at the 16th floor), is worth watching. Before coming to the food part, let me first tell you more about Skybar and its USPs (Ultra Selling Prepositions)
Location– Since this hotel is located in the deluxe area of the city and that what makes its luxury unmatched and also gives it an edge over other five star hotels.
View– Skybar, is on the roof top and therefore the view from there is beautiful and breathtaking. From the bird’s-eye view of Ambedkar park to Marine Drive and the beautiful Gomti river stretching on to the other side from metro city to skyscrapers of Lucknow. I canโt forget to mention that the view becomes more enchanting at night when the whole city lights up.
Area and Ambiance– Skybar is divided into two sections- indoor seating and the outdoor seating. An infinity pool outside is the centre of attraction. There is a separate smoking section. A full bar is available in the indoor area. Good for night life as the rock music will add to your late night party mood.
Cuisines– Finger food, continental, hard and soft beverages.
Recently, I attended Ladiesโ Night at Skybar with my girl-friends. They offer some exquisite international hard beverages and wines. Menu also include soft beverages and variety of mocktails. After a long and tiresome day at an exihibition (soon a blog will be up related to my look at the exihibition), I pampered myself with some refreshing mocktails. Just because you donโt drink alcohol doesnโt mean you miss out the most luscious summer drinks. I tried Blue Lagoon, Virgin Mojito and Tropic. It was impressive to notice that the service was fast despite the eventfulness of the place.
Virgin Mojito– Many of you are well aware of Virgin Mojito. It is a popular mocktail among the throng nowadays. Its basic composition is of lemon and mint. The lemon will tickle your taste buds while the mint is there to refresh yโall up. It is easily available in the cafes and lounges but there are only few who live up to its name โVirgin Mojitoโ.
Blue Lagoon– Cafes and restaurants have come up with some amazing mocktails which are not just fancy but also very soothing. Blue lagoon is one of them, which is also my personal favorite this season. Blue Curacao syrup being its core ingredient. The entire presentation of the drink is so eye catching that it will engage you completely.

Tropic– It is a rich and fruity drink. It is the perfect blend of tangy flavors of orange and pineapple along with divine tinge of coconut milk that brings the tropics right into your glass. Sipping it for the first time, it made a delightful imprint of taste. I would like to suggest all of you to at least try out this drink once. The sweet and creamy flavor of the drink will melt in your mouth just as a sweet sugar cotton ball.

(PS- my patent pose)
Every gulp of the exotic drinks did not just drench my drained throat but also hiked my energy and enthusiasm. While I was busy enjoying the night with my friends, the floor was set on fire by some renowned performers. The cold breeze played with my locks dribbling them over my cheeks and the rock music incited me to sway my feet and in no time, I joined the floor and synced my footsteps with them on some peppy songs. The performers not only cheered us up with their salsa dance but also taught us few salsa steps.
Overall, it was a lovely evening for me. I had heard a lot about Renaissance Hotels in the past. It is an international hotel brand and Renaissance Lucknow is the second hotel in India after being based out in Mumbai around 14 years ago. After spending my full day at Renaissance, I only aimed to deliver my ultimate experience with you all. I was completely fascinated by their hospitality, food, and everything else because everything there is unique in its own way and beyond oneโs expectations.
Since it was a night party, I decided to wear a party dress. Purple is my happy colour. A pair of black heels and open hair completed my look and I looked gorgeous (blush ^_^).
Rating–
Ambiance– 5/5 (captivating view, clean, cool music)
Food– 4.8/5
Money– 5/5 [Even after being a 5-star hotel the drinks (that I had) are really affordable and pleasing].
