Hey buddies! First of all, Eid Mubarak to each and everyone. Secondly, thanks a lot for the love you all showered on me. I really never expected so much of positive response from you all. Thanks for supporting me so much. Your love and support is going to be my strength in this journey. So here I am again with another post on this auspicious day. Being a Lucknowite I know this well, how royally Eid-ul-fitr is celebrated. Eid is about sharing love, warm greetings and being united. This day marks the conclusion of the fasting holy month of Ramdaan. I personally love this festival because of the immense love that I possess for sweets, especially for Sewai.
So coming to my post, traditional attire goes well on any Indian festival and on any body type, therefore I picked up a high-low royal blue kurti that I bought from Max store, Lucknow. I wanted to look a little different so I didn’t pair my kurti with any legging or salwar. Rajasthani embroidery work below the front neck line area on kurti, ended the requirement of neck piece.
Well, for my makeup part, I enhanced my eyes by applying winged liner, and bronzy gold shade of eyeshadow. Highlighted my cheek bones and applied a lakme 9 to 5 orange shade matte lipstick. Many of you must be knowing but I tell you that Lakme 9 to 5 range of lip shades are way to awesome, they give you such a classy as well as bold look at the same time.
Talking about my accessories, as I already said that there was no much need of a neck piece so I tried my golden neck piece that I bought from Globus India Store as a head band. For my hands, my wrist watch again coordinated nicely. These golden droplet earrings matched very well. A pair of black heels completed the look.
So that was all for this one. Do enjoy this festival of love and companionship. Enjoy delicious sewaiyaan and biryani. Lastly, I’m overwhelmed to get loads of support from you guys and surely can’t thank you all enough.
Please share your views and suggestions regarding this post.
Until next time lots of love. :*
