Bohemian Chic!

Hello pretty ladies,

Hope you all are doing great. I am good too. Well, actually I’m happy, because right now I’m writing this post and it’s raining outside giving me chilly vibes. I’m so in love with the weather as I can feel that winters are back. Moreover, my favorite festival, Holi is here (for overseas readers, Holi is the festival of colors in India).

So yeah, I’m back with another post and this time in collaboration with Don Desi India, an online store (Instagram) which offers a vivid variety of bohemian and tribal accessories at affordable prices. Let’s now talk about my look, from a long time I wanted to do a modern Bohemian look and Don Desi came to my rescue. We all have heard about ‘boho style’, ‘boho chic’ etc. So what’s exactly it is? I googled a lot about it, read different articles and blogs on it. And eventually the conclusion was- that Bohemian dressing is culture inspired. This look is provoked by ethnic groups especially hippie (better known as gypsy) people. But of course one can try to mix and match ethnicism with modernism to get the whole boho look. So I decided to go with pom-pom apparels and accessories which after all has an impressive history back in Europe and North America. Pompons, now known as pom-pom, are little balls of wool or silk which are used for decorating purposes.

Well, what could have been better than all three trend alerts in a single top? Here I am wearing a pom-pom top which is off shoulder. I really like this top as it has bell sleeves. Paired my top with denim shorts. Slipped into strappy flats from Street style store and made a messy bun. Have a look of  my style-

Now coming to accessories provided by Don Desi India. I got these super cute pair of pom-pom earrings that actually elevated my look. As you can see in the pictures that they are big in size, but I tell you they are not so heavy and you can wear them like entire day without actually feeling them. Second thing that I got, was a sling bag which has quite a detailed work (inspired by Gujarati culture) on it. One can also carry the bag as a pouch. Pom-poms are used in the bag as well for decoration purposes. I’m really loving these colorful ornamental ball that is adding so much to my look. The last thing that I got was the tribal neck piece that you can clearly see me wearing in the picture below. This piece will instantly update your look. I really like the high quality finishing. I also feel that the piece can also be worn as headband.
